Banana cake

Sometimes it happens that the bananas are over-ripe and unpleasant to look at. Nobody does not want to eat their. What should we do with them? I make banana cake! Cake turns moist, dense and very, very tasty. Cake prepared quickly and easily. It's quite suitable as a dessert for a family tea party, also as a holiday cake. You can do just cupcakes and decorate as you wish.

Ingredients

300 gr. bananas - each banana weighs about 100 grams
200 gr. sugar
2    eggs, beaten
125 g (1 stick) unsalted smelted butter (you can melt in the microwave)
150 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt without slides
1 tsp dry yeast with a small slide
1 tsp baking soda without slides
1/4 cup black poppy seeds (if you want it)
1/2 cup of walnuts

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time 40-45 minutes

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan.

The best bananas to use for banana bread are those that are over-ripe. The yellow peels should be at least half browned, and the bananas inside  squishy and browning.

In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.

Beat together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, dry yeast and melted butter.

Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Add chopped nuts and poppy seeds, mixing a few minutes.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

By the way, if the form with a hole in the middle, as I have, the cake will baked more quickly.

Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack. Remove the banana bread from the pan.

Cake can be decorated with melted chocolate and nuts.
