Meatloaf with egg

Absolutely delicious meatloaf and sauce! Those who claim they don't believe there can be such a thing as a great meatloaf will love this.

Cook Time:1 hr
Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins

Original recipe makes 8 servings

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef 
3 eggs 
1 onion, chopped 
1 potatoes chopped on a fine grater 
1/2 cup milk
1 slice bread (broken or chopped finely) 
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoons brown sugar 1/3 cup ketchup or tomato sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Finely chopped onion fry in a pan


Peel the potatoes and rub on a small grater



Crumble the bread and pour the milk


In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion and bread


Season with tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste 


I use ready-made tomato sauce


Peel the eggs


Place 1/2 meat mixture in a lightly greased 5x9 inch loaf pan, OR form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.


I was covered with foil shape, you can do it too


We spread the eggs


Cover with the second part of the meat mixture


Lubricate the top 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce or ketchup


Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour
